Hi There! I hope you woke up on time this morning! I know I know …. we lost an hour last night, but let’s look at the bright side. Days are going to get longer and spring is almost here! I have been waiting for the weather to get little warmer so that I can get back to drinking my healthy smoothies. This pineapple ginger smoothie is one of my favorite smoothies that is not only super healthy but sooooo delicious!
This exotic smoothie combines fresh pineapple chunks, Greek yogurt, banana and fresh ginger. You can drink up this delicious, light and vitamin rich smoothie for breakfast, dessert or snack. It is best to drink it post workout because of the great health benefits it offers!
Pineapple tastes amazingly delicious in this smoothie. Not only is it known for it’s exotic flavor, it also contains so many healthy benefits. It is high in Vitamin C that helps fight infections. It also contains bromelain, an enzyme that breaks down protein. It is a natural anti inflammatory and helps reduce pain and inflammation.
Banana is rich in potassium and helps with cramps and soreness. Third ingredient – ginger, my favorite! Not only does it delicious, but ginger is a natural anti inflammatory as well. It has some awesome health benefits. It helps relieve digestive problems like nausea, motion sickness and pain.

Super Healthy Pineapple Ginger Smoothie Recipe
Enjoy this delicious, light and vitamin rich pineapple ginger smoothie for breakfast, dessert or snack. It is an exotic combination of fresh pineapple chunks, Greek yogurt, banana and fresh ginger.
- 1 cup Pineapple diced
- 1 Banana sliced
- 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Ginger grated
- 1/2 cup Water
Combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth or reaches your desired consistency.
