Jerusalem artichoke is a winter vegetable which grows under the ground like potato has similar taste with radish and it doesn’t have a bitter taste. Inside it, there is significant amount of substance called inulin. Don’t confuse inulin with insulin. It has many beneficial effects for bowel and it is a perfect preventive for colon cancer. You can also lose weight by consuming it. It balances your blood glucose value and so that it is suggested especially people who are in an old age. After all these beneficial features you can start to prepare your smoothie.

  • 300 gr Jerusalem artichoke
  • 1 glass of half skimmed cow milk
  • 1 spoon of yogurt
  • 1 pinch of dill
  • 1 spoon of lime juice
  • 4 or 5 mint leaves
  1. First of all, you need to slice 300gr Jerusalem artichoke into its quarters after you have scoured it well. Then, put it to the freezer and wait until it gets cold.

  2. At the same time it is getting cold, you can prepare your caramelized mix. Put a glass of half skimmed cow milk (if you are vegan, you can use other types of milk like soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk. And we guarantee that it would be delicious, too) and a spoon of yogurt. And mix them.

  3. Add a pinch of dill and a spoon of lime juice into it. Mix them again. Now you can add your vegetable which is already get cold into the blender. Mix them for the last time.
