Green Beans With Caramelized Onion

Any Thanksgiving meal is incomplete without one popular side dish. Yes, green beans is something everyone expects at a Thanksgiving dinner as a side dish. And if you are a vegetarian like me, this is one of the must haves.

Every year, I try to make a recipe that is different from last years. So, this year I am adding a twist. I am preparing these green beans with caramelized onions, almonds and cashews.

Cashew nuts and almonds make up for extra crunchiness since I love my food to be crunchy. Squeezed lemon juice gives it a tangy flavor. I made these for our dinner side dish this weekend, and it was gone before we even started our dinner.
