  • 3 cl. of Green Chartreuse Liqueur
  • 3 cl. of Gin
  • 3 cl. of Red Vermouth (Cinzano)
  • 1 drop of Angostura Bitter
  • 1 green olive
  • 1 slice of lemon rind
  • 5 or 6 ice cubes


  1. First of all you need to cool down 3 cl. of Green Chartreuse Liqueur, 3 cl. of Gin and 3 cl. of Red Vermouth (Cinzano) by shaking them in a glass cocktail shaker with some ice cubes. Five or six ice cubes will be enough for this cocktail. If you use more than enough ice cubes in cocktails you may lose the taste of the other ingredients and also the alcoholic strength of your cocktail will decrease. So be careful about ice cubes, avoid using them too much than enough.

  2. After you have shaken the mentioned materials, add a drop of Angostura Bitter in it and shake again. After putting your drink in a wide cocktail glass without the ice cubes in it, garnish it with a slice of lemon rind and a green olive. You have prepared the Bijou cocktail recipe. Good appetite.
