The best receipe I have used is to make sure all the ingredients are equal. i.e.
6oz flour
6oz caster sugar
weigh your eggs (these should be approx 6oz too)
Try using half vegetable oil and butter. Butter gives you a heavier cake mix whereas oil makes them lighter.
A good tip is to fill your baking cases about 3/4 full. If your cakes are sinking in the middle, maybe your mixture is a bit heavy.

Vida Spa’s Homemade Herb-Cleanser
Ingredients
1 part ground Lavender Flowers
1 part ground Chamomile
1 part ground Rose Petals
3 parts Oat Flour
Water
Method
Grind and mix herbs together (a coffee grinder works well), then add in oat flour and blend thoroughly. Put 1/2 tsp. of the mixture into a small bowl and mix with enough water to create a yogurt-consistency. To create a creamier cleanser and softer exfoliation, warm the mixture in a small pan on low-medium heat for 5 minutes. Then mix the blended ingredients with a small amount of water to create a pliable paste. Massage all over the skin, avoiding the eye area. Remove with a warm cloth, and follow with moisturizer. Also you can use agave as a natural sweetener. Makes for great taste.
