5 Good and Bad Nutrition for ADHD / Hyperactive Victim

Are your child is difficult to organized? Often not paying attention when you talk to them ? Maybe your child have ADHD (Attection Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ) or hyperactive so that makes them hard to be organized. Try to pay attention to what they eat and what must be avoided , because it can trigger ADHD level on their body . Here are the food which is can be eaten and also must be avoided for children with ADHD

Food that is good to be eaten:
1 Essential Fatty Acid ( EFAs)
This is one of fat that your child must have, acid fat DHA Omega 3 is primary key to prevent ADHD growth in brain . Research show that every kid with learning disorder , including ADHD  is a cause of EFA derivation. To increase EFA , better eat more fish , seeds , or peanuts which is good EFA source

2 Vitamins B Complex
Vitamin B is needed to increase neural activity and very good to decrease stress. and both of them is usually met by children with ADHD. Although almost vitamin B is good, but there are 2 types that can give potential effect so you must concern in consumption. They are vitamin B3 or niacin. Niacin can cause skin irritation which is very affecting to liver damage. High dose of vitamin b6 can also cause low sensitiveness. A good vitamin b source is yeast,liver, whole wheat from cereal , bread , rice , peanuts, egg , milk , fish , fruits , meat, green vegetable , and soybean

3. Protein
If you not yet change protein needs in afternoon for a few salmon pieces , you better know that protein is the best energy resource for body. This is also very good for kid with ADHD, with consume a little protein daily can change energy which they use all day. Serving protein food does not mean you must go to kitchen to cook. Try to give breakfast menu to your child like wheat bread with cheese or egg or give tasteless low fat toghurt mixed by banana as sweetener

4.Calcium and Magnecium
Always give your child a glass of milk each day or increase green vegetable consumption. Calcium on it not only better for their bone but also good to protect their nerve . This is very good in affecting your child's behaviour. Magnesium can give calming effect to nerve, guarding muscle and nerve's function. Milk and green vegetables is calcium source. Green vegetable like brocolli and wheat which is in cereal can also be alternative source. While spinach, peanuts , and seeds is rich with magnesium

5.Important mineral in body
Mineral is one of micronutrient which is very needed in body everyday, even in a small amount. Trace Mineral can help child with ADHD including iron and zinc. A study is prove that kid with ADHD have low zinc compared with normal kid. Trace Mineral can be found in fruits or vegetables. But the most mineral can be gained from multivitamin supplement with low sugar of course.

And these are food that must be avoided by kid with ADHD

1.Sugar and Sweet food
Sugar must be avoided for children with high ADHD concentration because can absorb vitamin mineral and enzym in body. Avoid breakfast that have more sugar like cereal , energy bars , drink that contain sweetener or preservative , and much more

2. Additives substance
Blur , pink and yellow cake's decoration or goldfish crackers with nature color is very liked by children because the color is very attractive. Medicine and food examination organization in america have found hundreds food which contain additives substance or preservative to increase flavour , appearance , and aroma. This thing is not good for child with ADHD. Make sure food consumed is natural without additive substance and preservative like MSG ( monosodium glutamat)

3. Cafein
Cafein absorb mineral from bone, when body lack of mineral , coffee , tea or any cafein drink contain acid with dose lower than body's PH. That makes body work harder to balance PH's dose.
This make child with ADHD that consume too much cafein that usually exist in chocolate, soda drink , or other sweet drink  lost many mineral in body which cause nerve's function deteriotation


4. Salt
Some snacks not only with sweet taste , but also with salty taste whereas sodium in salty food is a substance that must be avoided for child with ADHD. In many cause it is known that sodium can cause hypertension for adults. But this is also give effect to children with ADHD too. Like cafein salt can steal mineral from body that is actually used to make nerve work better. Better avoid tortila chips , pretzel , or any other salty snack. And better look on food package to make sure of it.
