Margarine or Butter?

People often wrong with margarine and butter because its appearance approximately equal. In fact, each material of those cake ingredients are different. What is the difference?

Margarine itself make from vegetable fat or flora and contain water and salt. Therefore if using margarine, better not to add another salt. Most margarine sold in bowl or plastic packaging in various measure. Not like butter, margarine easily soften when shaked.

While butter is made from ox milk fat and has yellow pale color. The fat giving crispy taste and aroma fragrant at cake.

At store, butter sold in salted and unsalted package. If necessary, can add another salt if using unsalted butter. On the contrary, not needed to use salt while using salted butter. Butter would melt if placed in room temperature.

Before used better let butter a few moments at room temperature to make it easy to shake. Nowadays there is butter made from vegetable fat with butter aroma. Butter is relatively expensive and sold in various brand.
