Take Care Your Eating Equipments Tips
Though looks trivial, spoon and fork are important equipments, because both make direct contact with your mouth when you eat. It is better to look after your eating equipments such as fork, spoon, knife, chopstick, and other equipments. Try to read the tips below :
Material
Mostly people use stainless steel material for eating equipments because those are anticorrosion metal. Nowadays other material likes silver, brass and plastic are less popular. Stainless Steel material also divided into several types of variation in % like 50% or 100% depend on the quality of the material. People mostly like combination of stainless stell and plastic as the handler. Just make sure that the material is food grade or safe to connect with food.
Cleaning
White stain or pock, dirt and incision is mostly the problems that we found in kitchen when cleaning. To clean up the stain, rubs with water and give along with a little baking powder, soak for a moment and then brush with soft foam. For dirt on the handler, brush with old used tooth brush, then wash with liquid soap, rinse until clean. Dry with clean napkin so there is no water stain on the equipment.
Storing
It is better to keep these equipments in the covered place to keep it clean and free from dust. Don't put any camphor or other impart fragrance cause the smell would strongly stick with the equipments.
Using
Even though the equipments has been washed, it is better to soak it first in hot water and dry it with clean napkin. When serve it on dining table, cover it with napkin or something else to protect it from dust and flies. Just remember that eating equipments are directly contact with your mouth.
